UNICEF promotes the rights and wellbeing of every child, in everything we do. Together with our partners, we work in 190 countries and territories to translate that commitment into practical action, focusing special effort on reaching the most vulnerable and excluded children, to the benefit of all children, everywhere.

In Yemen, UNICEF has scaled up its programme to respond to the emergency and increasing needs of children across the country. UNICEF works to improve maternal health and reduce child and under-5 mortality; to improve nutrition and access to clean water; and to achieve basic rights for children, including addressing child marriage and preventing children from being victims of grave violations and advocating against the recruitment and use of children by armed forces and armed groups.
